Jeff Danzer 2xists vice president of marketing and licensing has indicated that they are diversifying into different categories and is communicating with licensees to move the brand forward. DUGG hopes that the innovative marketing and fresh styles continue for 2xist. Danzer was behind the push for market space with coveted space in Saks fifth avenue and Bloomingdales stores, he know that he could compete directly with the titanic forces of CK and was on a winning formula to do so with 2xist. Danzer was pushing into the ranks of 2xist resisting earlier rejection and boldly and persistently contacting the President Mike Pawil. Danzer eventually come on board the team and never looked back, sales went through the roof and 2xist become a major player not only in Men's underwear but in fashion in general, just being an underwear company meant it was specialist and could push the boundaries in what would seem a new market. Targeting the gay market was what made it grow through the 90's, selected boutique stores around the nation carried the brand finding there was thrust for fashionable underwear, the gay male market was the obvious choice. Some of the famous people that were unwittingly pushing the brand were JT, Vin diesel and famous Australian actor the late Heath Ledger, the famous Calvin Klein himself was caught wearing the brand. The aim is to promote the 2xist brand along the lines of sexy sophisticated underwear and not just for a demographic market such as Gay, Lesbian or straight. Which has found that the brand is also bought by women and men alike.

Here in DUGG Australia we have a great bond with the 2xist company and have created a long lasting relationship with the crew that distributes them. We are sometimes wary of new underwear that is released to us as picking the styles that will sell through well to the public. With 2xist this does not seem to be much of a problem, the Soy, varsity and track lines have been a popular choice for the past 6 months and continue to be a big seller. The 2xist bold series has been an ongoing stand out. We have just got in the new optics range and they seem to be selling like all new styles flying out the door. The 2xist underwear company certainly doesn't stop at creating good underwear they are heavily involved in fashion and also in charitable event, in 2004 they hosted an event supporting the prostate cancer foundation signing celebrity names such as Hillary Swank and brad Pitt. We think this is perfect for drawing attention to a major illness, that in some way touches almost every ones lives.
