2xist Thong G-string

These sexy thongs are a design that 2xist introduced more than 7 years ago.  The Y back design has been the stand out feature serving 2 purposes, 1 to stop the G sitting above the top of your pants (or skirt) and the other just as a fashion design and aesthetic feature. The way it sits it moves with your body so as to not ride, which makes it a perfect combination of form and function, you get the feeling of a thong without the uncomfortable or visual movement. Made from soft cotton they are light and cool, the front pouch carries the theme only being single lined with a middle seem that can't be felt.

3.3cm waistband is on the thin side compared to most brands these days, though does seem to effect the wear in any way and is perfectly comfortable, with a soft silky feel. The Y-back has straps that are folded and stitched they are 1.5 cm wide though when on are soft and are not noticeable.

The wear life on these is not super long though that would be expected when you buy something that is so soft and light, actually they feel al little delicate, but are strong for what they are. Overall I think they probably have a life of 6 months if you have a quite few pairs of 2xist Men's G-strings.  I think you would be happy wearing thgese knowing there really is no better, or you have the best thong on the market for the price, there is the HOM Fredy which is probably the best made thong but is a string design with no Y-back so they are different products really.

HOM Fredy String Review

Suddenly I feel older now I'm reviewing HOM underwear, why is that, why do I feel like I have jumped 10 years in age. HOM has been at the top of the underwear game for over 10 years and I must say "how do they do it" as they don't really change or evolve their basics line at all, though it does sell like crazy for reasons that we can not really fathom. I would have to say it is a bit more of a dress item, something that you would wear mainly out on a special night or that is how they seem to look, soft and subtle, but at the same time very well made. The super soft material mixture of 65% Cotton, 25% Elastane and 10% Elastane is a great combination that only HOM fredy string uses. Mens underwear made like this with this pedigree is not that common, they find themselves at the top of the game not even Ck is seen as being as good or well made, or that a silly thing to say as really CK is only slightly better than BOnds underwear anyway. Sorry getting off track! They wear well and feel super light and comfy on, the pouch is adequate and holds your package in, while still feeling or giving the feeling that you are snug.

Printed HOM logo in the top left corner near waistband the logo is silver in colour and is transferred on for a slightly stand out look. Now the Waistband is gathered and rolled  which gives in my opinion a slightly antiquated look to the Fredy HOM string, but it is a style that HOM has had for years and works for them, and is very popular with an internal elastic then double stitched. Just seems a little strange compared with what they would look like if they changed it to a seperate waistband (I think it would look much better).

These HOM Fredy Strings are great underwear, but, I think I miss the point with them, are they an everyday item that just looks like male lingerie or are they just a dress item... Back to 2xist I guess leave these for the male who understands them.

 Obviously Low Rise Thong Review

 Obviously underwear is a relatively new player on the scene, they have come from virtually nothing to become a known underwear brand within a few years, they started the light feeling pouch brief with a more pocket like pouch. They hold your package in a hanging pouch design so that they feel free. This I find is ultra comfortable but not super good for activities like running and the gym, then again they are not really designed for this, more to a dress wear and sexy feel. Obviously have made this their trademark and they have hit it with an ergonomic mens underwear design, who would have thought. There really is not much to these thongs / G-Strings they are extremely light and soft, I actually can't think of underwear that is so soft, maybe the Ck, or  Mitchdowd modal ranges were close.

   

The waistband is 3.8 which seems to be the standard at the moment (LOL). they are soft though not as soft as you would expect they feel a little ridged which I think is kind of okay because when you wear them the string and pouch feel like there is nothing there so the waistband reminds you that you actually have some underwear on, I like this feature some may not. The waistband also has a transfer tag which is soft and smooth avoiding scratching and itching and more importantly cannot be noticed. 
 
The string a folded and rolled hem and stitched for strength. while the stitching is on the inside of these obviously Pouch Strings they are not noticeable at all.


All in all these are very good soft, comfortable fun undies from Obviously. Very cool and unique.
