Equmen Sock Review

UPDATE: Well we have changed the review for 2 reasons 1 is we met the guys from Equmen, a face put to the quality products they supply makes us think that they have a bit osf substane and actually care for the customer (us and you). So we now endorse their products with full confidence, this is not just their socks but their underwear, which we will be stocking soon.

They have dropped the price on their compression socks and at $29.95 they are super super good value for what you get.

Well now they have compression socks, what will they think of next, when we write these sock review we give an honest opinion of what we think the product is like and what you would expect verse what you actually get for your money.

So this morning when they arrived in the office I eagerly unwrapped it out. This is where the cheap look ends and the quality starts. For this Equmen sock to be successful it would have to live up to top end  and exceed expectations.

It does look like a very well made sock, there is no stitching out of place which is a tell tale sign of poor manufacturing. When you pull and push on the sock it goes straight back into shape another superb quality of a great sock. When you turn the sock inside out the stitching and material is all sitting in exactly the right place, very well contracted and possible the neatest and most well made sock we have ever seen. So far my impression is that what you are paying for is a superb sock that will last a very long time.

I put the socks on for 5 hours in total, the first few minutes they feel quite firm on the leg, but this is what it is meant to do right.... Well after about 20 minutes of sitting I got up and started walking around, this is where I really noticed the support it didn't just feel tight it felt supportive, holding the calf and lower leg in place, almost the feeling of mild help while walking. This is exactly what it claims to do, and do it does in spades. These Equmen Compressions Socks actually work, who would have thought. I didn't want to take them off, supportive well constructed and exactly what you would pay the money for.

I would have to say they do exactly what they claim to do and do it extremely well! Does this justify the cost? YES yes it does. It is well made and does exactly what you would require. DVT prevention or sports specific through to everyday wear. Probably downside is That the price might prevent you buying a draw full, but they are well made and I'm sure they will last 2 or 3 times longer then a sack of half the price.

A couple of the guys will go for a run in the Equmen Compression Socks and give you an update to see what they are like under a performance sport.

Update on the run - Scott used them they and said they were awesome, supportive and held the calf firmly, a great addition to compression shorts.

Wigwam Dri-Release Low Cut Sock Review

What can we say expect these are the best low rise sports socks available. They have the best build quality, feel super comfortable and are long wearing so you get your money's worth out of them. They are made from a Cotton polyester blend that seems to be spot on in the mix and construction. These wigwam low rise socks make any shoe you wear comfortable, so much so it actually makes wearing most shoes comfortable, something in the way they are constructed and the exact thickness gives them the perfect blend.

Sick of socks that wear quickly and loose shape always slipping back into the shoe. Well these socks are a blessing, no more pain in the butt hiding socks which is especially bad on low rise socks, they always seem to disappear into the shoe.

They are equal thickness throughout with a tapered ankle, which makes it more flexible. Some features of these Wigwam socks are a dri-release rapid dry material so it keeps moisture away and your feet cool, the so called fresh guard material is meant to keep odors away, maybe this works, though could be a gimmick as i don't have smelly feet and I use so many different pairs of socks that they never get stinky. one great feature and one that should be mentions is there is not seems on the toe-line well I can see a visible one but it is made smooth and you really cannot feel it at all when you are wearing them, perfect!

Wigwam offer a 1 year guarantee which is massive, i can see why they do though as no one would be using it!

In short if you were after a sports sock and you want the best get these Wigwam Dri-Release Low Rise Sock.

Wigwam Rebel Fusion Crew Sock

Wigwam we praise as having the best socks in the market place, the Rebel Fusion Crew is no exception. It is a crew sock for everyday wear, best for outdoors or active use, maybe something like hiking or working construction. I used them under my motorbike boots on a long ride on a fairly hot day and these mens socks performed fabulously. They have 2 liners, the inner is made form a material named Olefin and the out is made from a blend of 56% Stretch Nylon, 38% Merino Wool, 6% Lycra. This construction means they stay warm but sweat is little and drawn away, so they feel warm though dry at the same time. When wearing boots they have a soft quality that makes them much more comfortable than most socks, I think the 2 separate lining construction gives just the right amount of comfort and usability.

When you touch the socks they feel a little rough in your hands though when they are on your foot the story changes (probably good as you don't wear socks on your hands) they feel comfortable snug and soft. They claim to have a supportive toe and heel I always struggle to find any sock supportive I mean how supportive can they be, well in comparison with the boots or shoes you wear. These mens Underwear Socks have fresh breathable vents near the shin, but again i don't see how this can help unless you are wearing a show.

The construction is outstanding and the seems and toe seems show this 100%, they are well constructed and will last a long time.
