 C-in2 - Core Low No Show Brief 4013

C-in2 has made essentially the best quality brief available in the market today, a modest opinion of the DUGG staff and particularly Scotty who seems to think they have engineered the absolute! Well we have all agreed the quality cut and lifespan of these undies are phenomenal. They have a generous pouch that sits right and the bottom is also cut correctly that it doesn't ride and you aren't picking undies out of your but for days. They have a waistband that you don't notice which is actually what you want, does its job but you don't feel it, no irritation and no chafe, moving to the side hip area which allows for leg movement but no discomfort. C-in2 have been developing there underwear and materials for the past few years though the cut has stayed the same, we don't think you can improve on it at all, which leads us to the material they use. They use 100% cotton which has soft feel but again like 2xist they have moved to a thinner material. What are they thinking? Is it better? We think not! The material doesn't last as long and feels thinner, it doesn't seem to be any cooler or sweat less just doesn't last as long, seem sit is just a money saving exercise for them.

Production has moved from Thailand to India and now back to Thailand so the supply and materials hopefully improve. Which is not to take away from the Cin2 no show brief being the staple must have of any men's undie collection.

Review - 2xist Essentials No Show Brief 1020

This must be the most popular highest selling underwear that we have seen since Down Under Guys Gear has been serving undies to Aussie Guys. It is a simple design but we think they have the combination of coverage and sleek just right. Moving from a full brief to something low cut while still being comfortable is a hard task. To be totally honest the cut is a little small across the bottom which can be uncomfortable at times but not to annoying. They need maybe a little more room in the front pouch but that is usually a personal preference. We also noticed the change in materials from the older style to the new essential range, it has become thinner. While some may like this as it will breath easier we can only assume that they will also wear out quicker and may not be as strong. Maybe the final say would be these are an excellent staple item of underwear the 2xist No Show Brief, maybe go a size up if you like them to fit normally though they are essentially meant to be a slightly tigher fitting sleek design and hence they fit accordingly.

Review - Obviously Low Rise Brief

When you think about a brief you would not have thought about a brief so ergonomically designed that it feels like you are wearing nothing, nor would you think of having a specially designed pouch for your man to sit inside. Before we saw it we didn't even think of it but the Obviously Men's Underwear range has raised the bar in design and in-turn comfort. They have stepped out from the mold and with a slightly "risky" design have made the pouch brief. A soft waistband with flush stitching is a key feature, which is made so it doesn't irritate or scratch the skin, also incorporating a tag which is ironed on and is so soft it feels like it is not there and believe us when we say it is the best tag you could have. They have a modal Lycra blended material witch feels soft yet durable, surprising last quite long woven though it seems sheer maybe a little thin. The stitching of the body is a strong double stitch with a rolled seem so you wont feel them if they move or you do, this is for comfort and also makes the garment extremely strong. Obviously Men's Underwear has to be commended on the build quality.

Review - Calvin Klein Briefs

Ck are the dominating force in the mens underwear industry, a juggernaut of sorts that sway fashion trends more than most. Though I think that relevance has subsided the past few years with the dominance of 2xist, C-in2 and brands like Obviously and Andrew Christian (AC now there is a brand that is forward thinking). With the Calvin Klein Body brief, meant to be body defining as it says on the box, may be but as far as we can see someone's body is far more defining of the underwear than the other way around... Surely our astute customers here at DUGG know this and when you look past it you are left with the reality this is just a cotton brief, and a re-launched cotton brief at that.

Very light in feel and soft as possible with a 100% cotton material construction. They are white as white can be with a not so bold logo around the outside of the waistband. So they are simple with a double layer front pouch, but because of the construction and material used this stays cool against the skin. The cut on the bottom side is slightly better than 2xist fitting without cutting. They are comparable with the 2xist 3120 brief now known as the 1020. This is better as many say the 2xist size is just too small and we would have to agree, The CK version is much better at holding everything in with a slightly better/bigger cut.

Construction wise they use triple stitching around the waistband which is awesome and they are Tagless, which is what all manufacturers should be using but surprisingly they don't, as far as a cotton brief gos the is well made and comfortable, with a medium wear life.
